In conversation with Frankie Airey | Sydney | For staff
This session is for general managers, executive directors and fundraising and development staff of arts and cultural organisations.
Revenue from fundraising is an essential source of income for small to medium arts organisations.
To inspire donors and corporate partners, organisations must build a robust fundraising strategy that the whole organisation can get behind, work hard to articulate their cause, and take time to cultivate potential donors.
Join us for a mini masterclass on successful fundraising with strategic arts fundraising expert Frankie Airey as she shares over 30 years’ experience working in development and marketing for the not-for-profit sector.
What do you believe is the greatest challenge your organisation faces in the area of fundraising? How do you define your case for support? How do you build a fundraising strategy with a whole-of-organisation approach? What do you need to consider when planning fundraising activities and goals for the organisation? How do I cultivate long-term, meaningful relationships with donors? These questions and more will be discussed at this two-hour session.
Who it’s for:
General managers, executive directors and fundraising and development staff of arts and cultural organisations.
This event has two sessions: the 2pm-4pm session is for staff (general managers, executive directors or fundraising and development staff) and the 6pm – 8pm session is for board members. To get the most out of this opportunity we recommend organisations have representation at both sessions. You can book the board session here.
What you’ll get:
A mini masterclass on the principles and processes of seeking private support and developing a successful fundraising program for your organisation with the leading Australian expert on fundraising, Frankie Airey.
This is an informal session with plenty of time for Q&A so come prepared with your questions and to have an honest, confidential discussion about the opportunities, challenges and pitfalls of arts fundraising with your peers.
