We’re pleased to announce the recipients of in-principle funding through our matched funding program for the arts, Plus1.
Following an assessment panel meeting in September, we’ve committed $1,338,148 in Plus1 matched funding to 48 arts organisations around Australia in the 2017-18 funding round.
These organisations will be fundraising for a range of projects and activities, including creating and presenting new works, core operational costs, new program initiatives, and capacity building activities such as customer relationship management and new IT.
The full list of Plus1 recipients is here.
They’ll start their fundraising over the next few days, weeks and months, and have until May 2018 to complete their campaigns, so keep your eyes peeled and support them where you can. Remember, every dollar you donate during these campaigns will be matched by us, so you’re doubling the value of your donation!
Plus 1 is our matched funding program to boost the fundraising efforts of small to medium arts and cultural organisations, and Australia’s first Australian Government funded matched funding program for the cultural sector.
By matching funds secured through the fundraising endeavours of artists and arts organisations. we’re supporting them to diversify and increase their revenue streams, achieve their artistic goals, create new work for audiences to enjoy and become more robust in the long-term.
