Creative Partnerships Australia's second survey of private sector support for the arts is coming soon, providing insight into philanthropy, sponsorship, partnerships, and investment in the arts.
‘Giving Attitude’ enables organisations to understand the challenges they face when embarking on fundraising strategies, providing fundamental benchmarks so they can effectively determine what is achievable and set reasonable expectations for ROI.
Over 2,200 arts and cultural organisations were invited to participate last year, sharing information around the key experiences and challenges they were facing concerning fundraising.
The results of the first Giving Attitude survey in 2019 had a meaningful impact for arts organisations by equipping them with a nationwide lens of the industry; identifying the opportunities, the resources and the requirements for building their fundraising capabilities; allowing them to reasonably benchmark against similar organisations so they could ultimately improve their fundraising results.
Without Giving Attitude, fundraising for many arts organisations would still be a guessing game.
The 2020 survey will be distributed shortly to select organisations to voice their opinions on the level of private sector support for arts and culture.
